~ZA“Make it simple. Make it memorable. Make it inviting to look at. Make it fun to read.”-Leo Burnett
Love reached a whole new meaning when I met Jacob and became a mother on April of 2013. Jacob is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I had no idea that I could love somebody that much! His smiles and snuggles brighten my days and make me stronger. Paul and I are rising him bilingual and bicultural. He learned how to kiss before he learned how to walk. He likes mole and tortillas as much as peanut butter and pumpkin pie. So far, about half of his words are in Spanish and half in English, but I suspect that he likes Spanish more.
My True Love I love spending time with Paul. He is my art director, my
best friend and the love of my life. Being in love allows me to see life in
a different but incredible spectrum that I couldn't ever have been able
to imagine before. I can understand human feelings in a deeper way. I
understand the difference between the words "Te Amo" and "Te quiero"
because I am experiencing them in this moment. And I want this
moment to last forever... |

Salsa Dancing Cooking ![]() I had never been a huge fan of American football ( yes, that's what we call it in Mexico because for us the "real" football is soccer) until I went e to a BYU football game for the first time in our stadium. I really enjoy the environment and the energy of so many people cheering and getting excited at the same time. Go Cougars! |
Anywhere is a good place to dance when you have music running in your veins! I love salsa dancing and 5th avenue in Cancun was our chosen venue that night. A live band was playing at the restaurant behind us, and that was the perfect excuse to turn a boring street into a dance floor! Making food is a ritual, a gift and a great honor in Mexico. Recipes are not written, but passed down from generation to generation. It's no wonder why when you learn how to cook, people tell you that you are ready to get married! For me cooking is a therapy and a retreat. It's a time to relax and get creative...I enjoy mixing colors, flavors and spices. I love the smell in my kitchen and the satisfaction of sharing a part of my time, tradition and spirit with the people I love. BYU Football Fan ![]() |
